It’s been a full calendar year since Huawei first debuted the Honor Note 8, which should be reason enough for the tech world to believe the successor is around the corner.
That said, Huawei doesn’t seem to have a launch event scheduled for anytime soon, which means the Note 9 will probably have to wait until IFA 2017 to see light of day. Anyway, I’m sure to-be buyers wouldn’t mind a bit of waiting… especially considering the kind of firepower the Note 9 is expected to have.
Gizchina News of the week
Honor Note 9 Specifications
Here’s what it is going to have, if the leaks have any accuracy to them: 6GB of RAM coupled with the HiSilicon Kirin 965 SoC, and a massive 4600mAh battery. Of course, given the ‘Note’ nature of the phone, it’ll have a screen larger than 5.5-inches.
To keep up with the market, Huawei are also expected to include a dual 12 megapixel camera on the rear. Given Huawei’s track record with phone cameras, this one should turn out to be rather nice.
We shall see when the phone launches, which we believe will happen at the IFA.
