Well it’s Google, no one knows what they really have in mind after all, don’t you agree? If we take into account however that the latest Developer Preview 4 of Android O was released last Monday (July 24) – and it was a release candidate – then things are getting “warmer” in terms of the official release of Android O.

Don’t forget: the Google Pixel and Pixel XL flagship models are first in line to get the new major OS version and others will follow, in order to get some special treats along with it, such as Project Trebble, Autofill, Blob emoji and more. You’ll probably ask “what the heck is that image you used?” and you’ll be right, but according to recent rumors the current most popular naming is oatmeal cookie (and here you have it).
Oh in case you’d like some more information, have in mind that last year, Android 7.0 Nougat started to roll out to Nexus devices on August 22, so we’re… pretty close I guess.
