The Leagoo KIICAA MIX is the latest cheap alternative featuring the trendy tri-bezel-less design. The smartphone sports a 90% screen-to-body ratio, it’s covered in 2.5D glass and it’s only 7.9mm thick. Unlike other devices of this kind, the KIICAA MIX comes with a full metal body which is curved on the edges to improve its looks and comfort in hands.
The display on the phone is 5.5-inch big and we can see in the image above how it compares to smaller 5-inch or 5.5-inch devices. As you would expect it’s much slimmer than an ordinary 5.5-inch phone and thus easier to handle.
The 5.5-inch display has a resolution of 1920×1080 and is coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for improved scratch and shock resistance; the screen is said to produce very vivid colors.
Gizchina News of the week
Under the hood we find a Mediatek MT6750T 1.5Ghz 8-core CPU paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which should be enough to run through most apps and games. We then find a welcome USB Type-C port at the bottom which supports loss-less digital audio output, an OV 13MP + 2MP camera combo on the back and another OV 13MP shooter on the front to snap your needed selfies.
The Leagoo KIICAA MIX works on 4G networks with LTE Cat.6 protocol with a maximum download speed of 300Mbps. Meanwhile the fingerprint sensor used on KIICAA Power features Smart Touch technology, it has an independent ISP for storing and processing fingerprints and it’s crafted from premium ceramic. The sensor also actively learns and progressively improves, so your scans get even more precise over time.
Lastly, the KIICAA MIX supports 5V2A quick charge and comes with a new type of high-capacity lithium core LG battery with a capacity of 3000mAh. The company claims that after 600 times of charging and discharging, the battery still retains 80% of its initial rated capacity; the service time is twice that of common ones.
