Vernee seem to have find a solution to at least one of our problems — battery life — while keeping the smartphone rather thin at just 7.9mm of thickness. The Vernee Thor Plus does indeed pack a massive 6200mAh capacity battery which should grant around 20 hours of video playing and 750 hours of standby time; let’s have a closer look.

According to Vernee all they needed to do to pack a big battery on such a slim phone is all about interior PCB design. Their engineers have created as much free space as possible to allow them to shove in the biggest battery they could, the fact that the battery has a 700Wh/L density helps to increase the mAh number as well.

The Vernee Thor Plus also sports a beautiful 5.5-inch Super Amoled display which is slimmer than LCD and can reproduce more vivid colors. This is another factor that made the smartphone this slim, together with the high density battery and motherboard design.

720p screen, Mediatek 6753, 3GB RAM… Not really a lot going for it outside of the big battery.

LOL, it seems that mediatek never learn their mistake and keep selling their obsolete SOC MTK6753 while their competitor Qualcomm already release newer faster and affordable soc (read : Cheap).

Sad to be said but if mediatek keep doing this practice, they will die faster..
