Bluboo’s 18:9 aspect ratio phone — the Bluboo S8 — presales finally kick off today. The company has just published a teardown video of the device over on Youtube, so without further ado, let’s have a look at the video below.
In the video we’re shown most of the components the smartphone is made of, like the 3450mAh capacity battery, the front selfie camera, the Sony dual rear camera setup and the fingerprint scanner. Bluboo’s skilled technician then reassembles the S8 and it seems to work fine, proving that the smartphone is not that hard to repair if anything goes wrong.
Over the weekend Bluboo also released their “review” of the handset also on Youtube, if you’re interested check out this video:
Gizchina News of the week
The best features of the smartphone, as shown in the video, are its dimensions which are: 151.2X71.6X8.8mm, its weight of 193 grams and the dual camera setup on the back consisting of a Sony 16MP plus a 3MP secondary shooter. The photos shot on the Bluboo S8 look decent and there are some beautify effects girls could use.
The handset also comes with 360 OS which should provide a smooth Android experience and packs features such as 360 Clone and 360 Freezer.
Overall the Bluboo S8 appears to be a good device for the asking price, which is $149.99. Sure it doesn’t look as nice as a real Samsung S8, but then you’re paying four or five times less. If you’re lucky enough you can even get it for $74.99 over at Banggood where they’ve a flash sale every day from August 14th to the 20th.
Otherwise you can purchase it over at AliExpress where you can potentially get a free $50 worth bluetooth headset with it.
