Asus Zenfone 4 series of smartphones have been officially unveiled. From flagships, to selfie centric phones, Asus has a myriad range of devices to offer.
Asus’ flagship for 2017, the Zenfone 4 comes in two variants, the Asus Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 4 Pro. The Zenfone 4 is an amalgam of metal and glass. The fingerprint scanner lies on the front of the phone. It sports a 5.5 inch 1080p LCD display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660/630 chipset coupled with up to 6GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and support for microSD card up to 256GB. On the rear is a dual camera setup featuring a 12MP f/1.8 Sony IMX362 sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, OIS along with an Omnivision 8856 120+degree wide angle camera. Onthe front lies an 8MP sensor. The phone is fueled by a 3300mAh battery.

The Asus Zenfone 4 Pro is the beefy sibling of the Zenfone 4. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset and a larger 3600mAh battery. The rear has a dual camera setup similar to the Zenfone 4 but with an IMX362 f/1.7 lens and Sony IMX351 sensor with 2X optical zoom.
Along with the flagships, the selfie centric Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro were unveiled. The Selfie Pro features a dual camera setup of 12MP IMX362 sensor coupled with an Omnivision 5670 sensor on the front with LED flash and a 16MP Sony IMX351 sensor on the back. It is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset.
On the other hand, the Zenfone 4 Selfie features 20MP Omnivision 20880 sensor coupled with 8MP Omnivision 8856 sensor on the front. On the rear is an Omnivision 16880 sensor. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
The Zenfone 4 Pro is priced at $599 with two color variants, Black and silver whereas the Zenfone 4 will start at $399. The Selfie Pro will retail for $379 and the Selfie will retail at $279.
