The Azdome DAB211 is the latest product launched by the Chinese company specialized in car dashcams. The camera is equipped with an Ambarella A12 chip and an OV4689 image sensor. This combo should be able to bring high quality video and a smooth user experience.
The DAB211 is also filled with really useful features, such as built-in GPS, 150°wide angle, ADAS, hidden design, starlight night vision, HDR and more. For these reason the camera can be adapted to different usage scenarios.
The Azdome DAB211 comes with that the company calls “hidden design”, meaning the camera isn’t easy to spot, and behind it we find a big 2.31-inch LCD display. It can shoot 16MP photos and record videos at 2560×1440p/30fps, with the unique starlight night vision and HDR functions you can get good results even at night, inside tunnell, haze and other bad weather conditions. Here are some landscape photos shot on a trip by the Azdome guys.

What do you guys think about these photos shot on the DAB211?
The Azdome DAB211 can also be used in an indoor environment though, for example you can use the camera fixed on a wall to monitor what’s happening in that room. Because of its small dimensions and ease of use, the camera could be really hard to spot for a stranger getting in the building for the first time. Here below you can see an example of that.
So, what do you guys think about these alternative use scenarios? Do you see yourself relocating your dashcam from your car to your home? Let us know down below!
