Coolpad’s Cool Play 6 flagship to be unveiled on August 20

According to an official statement by Coolpad, the company plans to unveil their next flagship model on August 20, during an all day event scheduled to take place in Dubai. The new model will be called Cool Play 6 and it’s expected to pack impressive features – for a Coolpad flagship model of course.

According to recent information, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 chipset – a rare occasion for Coolpad smartphones to use so powerful SoC’s, along with 6GB of RAM, a 4000 mAh battery and possibly a dual camera system positioned on its back.

It’s a flagship model so it will have metallic design, similar to some of the latest LeEco smartphones – which is not strange – since LeEco is a major shareholder in the company and some of the existing Coolpad devices are essentially by LeEco.
