A couple of days ago, Huawei informed us about a special event scheduled to take place on October 16 in Munich and everything suggests that that’s when we will see the Mate 10 model for the first time.
Today, the Chinese company released a first teaser video about the upcoming model – even though they don’t name it at all- projecting the features of the Mate 10. Both the first image teaser and this video teases the unnamed model with the caption ” Meet the device worth waiting for”. Which means they both refer to the same model.
Gizchina News of the week
The video basically confirms that Huawei plans to cooperate once again with Leica, just like they did on the Mate 9 phablet. According to rumors, the Mate 10 will be equipped with a dual camera setup, consisting of a 12MP main sensor teaming up with a 20MP monochrome sensor. The pictures showcased inside the video could possibly be camera samples of the flagship Mate 10 and they show the possibility of some improvements in the camera quality.
We expect to see the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 with an EntireView display, completely bezel less with an 18:9 ratio like the LG G6. It is also expected to have a 6-inch display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and would be powered by a Kirin 970 chip, which would be Huawei’s first 10nm chip.
