Good things happen to those who wait I guess, so earlier today a first leak right from Weibo’s servers gave us a first look at the back side of the rumored Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 – at least according to the leakster. Obviously this hasn’t been confirmed so be careful while you read the following lines, OK?
The leaked image comes – presumably- right from the supply chain and shows the back side of the upcoming Mi MIX 2 model, in white glossy color. We can see that it’s glossy so it could be ceramic coating on top of the back shell but if you take a good look at the bottom you will see 2 holes for screws and… there are no screws on ceramic parts. Perhaps then the device is made out of metal? Who knows…

What we do know however is that it has 2 camera lens holes (so it comes with a dual camera setup), another LED flash hole and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. According to recent rumors, the upcoming model should be equipped with a 6 inch JDI display with a Snapdragon 835 chipset, along with a 3400 mAh non-removable battery. It will featureĀ a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor at the rear along with a 5MP OV5675 sensor for selfies.
It should be unveiled on September 12 but that’s not official yet.
