The YotaPhone 3 has been the subject of rumors and leaks for a few weeks now. It has finally been unveiled and comes with mid range hardware. Known for pioneering the dual screen concept, the YotaPhone 3, also known as Yota3 in China, is the 3rd iteration in the line of YotaPhone, and has come to the market after a gap of nearly 3 years.
The Yota3 has a traditional display up front with the fingerprint scanner on the bottom bezel and the front camera on the top bezel. On the back is where the magic happens. A 5.2 inch e-ink display takes up the back of the phone with the rear camera sitting on the top left corner with the LED flash. On the bottom of the rear display are 3 capacitive buttons to navigate through the secondary display.

On the spec front, the front has a 5.4 inch 1080p display while the secondary display is 5.2 inch panel with a resolution of 720p. Under the hood lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and memory options of 64GB and 128GB. The camera on the rear is a 13MP sensor with dual tone LED flash and the front houses a 12MP snapper. Powering the phone is a 3,300mAh battery. The Yota3 runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box with YotaOS 3.0 on top. It has a USB type-C port for charging.
The Yota3 will go on sale on September 18. Pre-orders start on September 8 on JD.com. The 64GB version will be priced at RUB 21,500/ 2,398 Yuan/ $360, whereas the 128GB version will sell at RUB 27,900/ 3,098 Yuan/ $465. There is no word as to whether this phone will hut any other markets. Stay tuned for more!
