As soon as the first pictures of the Oukitel K3 hit the internet, the undeniable look and design very similar to the Xperia models of Sony just immediatelly stood out. Now with the phone out in the presales let’s take a closer look at it in comparison to the Sony Xperia XZ Premium and decide if it could be a viable cheap alternative for that.
At first glance both models look pretty similar with 5,5-inch displays with dual curved glossy design and symmetrical design of the side frames. But with closer inspection there are some pretty significant differences between these two competitors. Sony decided to put the fingeprint sensor on the right right, while Oukitel went the more conservative route with the scanner integrated into the home button.

Another big difference comes with the cameras, because while Oukitel K3 sports dual lens cameras both front and back with the rear cameras centred, Sony Xperia XZ Premium uses only single lens cameras on both sides and uses the top left placement. And the batteries are similar, 6000 mAh vs 3000 mAh in favor of the Oukitel and with the 9V/2A quick charger you can even charge it fully in just 2h50m time.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium of course offers way more powerful specs in terms of processor power and camera quality, but Oukitel K3 at least matches with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. And the price ? Well galaxies apart, because Oukitel K3 presale offers are currently at $139.99 down from the $179.99 retail price as opposed to the hefty $625.99 for the Sony. If the Oukitel piece would seem like a viable alternative, then you can pre-order it at the Oukitel Authorized Store.
