Gizchina News of the week

According to Weibo user (@冷希), several samples have been sent to customers to test and they’ve found their first customer in Meizu, with the first devices of the Chinese manufacturer to arrive in Q1 2018.

In case you forgot, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus flagship was the first in the world to rely on Mediatek’s Helio X30 chipset, and we expect more mid-range models of the company to use the P40 chipset – when it’s available. This SoC is expected to rival the upcoming Snapdragon 670 SoC, which should be available in smartphones in Q1 2018 as well.
