It seems that Nubia (ZTE’s sub brand) plans to enter the… full screen display group of manufacturers, with their first completely bezel-less smartphone.
That’s why they released yesterday on Weibo a first teaser that hints at such a device, showing an outline for a smartphone against a star-filled background. Yes, we cannot see the bottom part of the phone, but given the rest of the phone’s design we can safely assume that we’re expecting their first full-screen Nubia smartphone soon.
Gizchina News of the week
Note however that the chinese company is not new to bezel-less designs, as their Nubia Z17 flagship has non-existent side bezels but still uses large parts above and below the display. So far there’s no official info on the phone, its specs or what will be its price tag. If we’re seeing a flagship model then it will be equipped – probably- with the Snapdragon 835 chipset.
There’s so much to wait for, so we will do just that: wait.
