i guess we all know by now, that Huawei is hosting an event on September 22, where they plan to unveil their Maimang 6 model, a new Huawei G Series member, equipped with a 5.9” 1080p screen – 1,080 x 2,160px specifically due to the 18:9 aspect ratio, and a mid-range Kirin 659 chipset – the same used in Huawei Nova 2.
It’s a decent chipset according to its performance specs, as it packs eight Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, in this case paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

Rumors suggest that the new full display model will run on Android 7 Nougat with EMUI 5.1, while packing a front dual camera with two sensors (13MP + 2MP) and a selfie flash – with an adjustable strength depending on ambient light conditions. On the rear there’s a second dual camera, this time with 16MP + 2MP sensors.
The Huawei Maimang 6 (its official name will be Huawei G10) is expected to come with a price tag of around CNY 2,000 ($305/€255 or so), but note that there will also be a 4GB/64GB version, which will -obviously- cost more.
