The Vernee MIX 2 is probably one of the most interesting tri-bezel-less smartphones soon coming into the market. Vernee challenged Xiaomi with the slogan “Not only bezel-less 2.0” back when the handset was first revealed. Now, we can finally have an actual real look at the device; let’s check it out in the video and some real photos.
Other than the video, Vernee also released some real photos of the device that show its best feautres: a large 6-inch FHD and 18:9 aspect ratio display, a dual glass design and a dual camera setup at the back; let’s begin with the first picture.
In the image above we can see the Vernee MIX 2 compared to a 5.5-inch phone with the older 16:9 display aspect ratio. Clearly the MIX 2 packs a bigger screen in the same body size, so you get an higher screen-to-body ratio.
The display on the Vernee MIX 2 is a big 6.0-inch panel with Full HD resolution. The 18:9 display aspect ratio also makes it looks slender as it extends more vertically than horizontally, thus easier and more comfortable to hold in your hands, plus it gives it that immersive look we began to love with the original Mi MIX.
Gizchina News of the week
In the photos above we can admire the beautiful dual glass design of the phone. The back also comes with a mirror finish that makes it look very premium compared to similar devices.
On the back of the Vernee MIX 2 we’ll find the trendy dual camera setup, this will be a first for Vernee. We don’t know yet what image sensors the smartphone is equipped with, but at least we know it has two cameras, something we can’t say about the latest Xiaomi Mi MIX 2.
Vernee is currently running a campaign that might allow you to get the Vernee MIX 2 for just $99.99, which seems like a very appealing price. Learn more about the promotion on Vernee’s official website.
