As some of you may know, Vernee’s first real and only flagship phone ever launched was named Apollo. At almost a year from its launch we’re all wondering where’s the successful of that device – the Vernee Apollo 2? Well, according to the latest rumors we might not see it at all, but instead have the beautiful Vernee MIX 2 take its place and come with the flagship Mediatek Helio X30 CPU.
The Vernee MIX 2 will be the company’s first all-screen phone, even with the number two in the moniker. Vernee makes clear that the “2” refers to a code name and not second generation – we believe it’s just a marketing choice. They have some points to prove their statement though, such as the amount of “dual” this, “dual” that we can read on the MIX 2’s campaign page. Either way, it’s just a name, does it really matter?
