Sony ready to launch new bezel-less models next year!

It was about time Sony! Don’t mind us, you’re just one of the last companies that still releases these bezel-monsters, paying no attention to what your fans ask.

Finally, the Managing Director of Sony India, Kenichiro Hibi, confirmed recently that his company is planning to launch next-gen Xperia phones, mentioning that:

“you can expect a completely new design from the devices”.

In other words, forget about this OmniBalance nonsense and prepare for truly bezel-less models. It’s worth mentioning also that the company will still focus on mid-range to high end devices with premium features, but they will save some budget variants for markets such as India’s etc.

We expect their new models to be officially unveiled early 2018, during MWC 2018 in Barcelona or a few days prior to this.
