Financial times conducted a survey in China, as to which manufacturer people prefer, with Huawei coming on top followed by Apple. The survey that was conducted revealed that over 31.4 percent of the consumers preferred Huawei whereas 24.2 percent said that they would choose an iPhone.
This year saw a good deal of growth in Huawei as a company, which can be attributed to the fact that they’ve hugely invested their resources in research and development along with manufacturing, marketing and maximizing sales. Huawei became the second largest smartphone manufacturer this year beating the likes of Apple and Xiaomi. Last year, about 25.8 percent of the consumers said they would prefer the iPhone 7, which was launched back then. This has seen a little decrease this year after Apple launched their upcoming iPhones.
Gizchina News of the week
When it comes to choosing between the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, 65.1 percent said they would prefer to get the iPhone X over the other iPhones. This makes sense since the iPhone 8 isn’t a very big change from the iPhone 7. Personally speaking, Apple hasn’t really brought anything new or revolutionary to the table since a while now, which might be one of the reasons why people would prefer Huawei over Apple.
