The original Maze Alpha was one of the first tri-bezel-less clones of the Xiaomi Mix and despite some flaws (as pointed out in our review) it got fairly decent sales and popularity. So it only makes sense the manufacturers will try to build up on its foundations and in November we should be getting an updated version released with a new Maze Alpha X.
Maze Alpha X will be keeping the 6-inch size of the display of the predecessor but in light of the current trend it’s going to be a display with 18:9 aspect ratio and luckily also the FHD+ resolution (2160×1080 pixels). Screen-to-body ratio should be up to 89.6% and the protection of the front 2.5D curved glass got bumped to Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Design will be glassy also on the back using the Gorilla Glass 4 there and the phone will be available in black/blue/silver color variants.
Gizchina News of the week
In terms of hardware equipment it will have 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, the processor type is nowhere to be found so it’s highly possible they will go again with the Helio P25. Main camera should get a Sony sensor either with 16MP or 13MP resolution, interestingly enough there is no picture showing the back so the dual camera design is not certain. Battery will be the same 4000 mAh capacity charged through the USB Type-C port and front fingerprint scanner will be in integrated in the Home button.
As mentioned before the release of the Maze Alpha X model is expected in November and for more information directly from the source you can subscribe on their reservation page. And if you would be interested in the previous generation of Maze Alpha then you can get it for example on Gearbest.
