At the Google event taking place today, the Search company launched a new speaker which will be joining their lineup of Google Home products. The biggest speaker of the family is called Google Home Max and it’s mostly aimed at playing music.
The Google Home Max features two 4.5-inch woofers alongside two 0.7-inch custom-built tweeters, both covered by a fabric speaker grille. What’s innovative though is the presence of far-field microphones that Google says will be able to hear you when the music is playing.

Another important factor of the new Google Home Max is its brains. The speaker does indeed feature the most advanced google AI algorithms which will allow it to automatically understand its surroundings and adjust sound accordingly. This will make the Home Max sound great anywhere you put it.
The speaker works with Bluetooth as well as Google Cast and sports a 3.5mm audio jack.
Google Home Max will sell for $399 and will begin shipping in December in the U.S. With it you’ll get a 12-month subscription YouTube Music (no ads)
