Canadian carrier Telus is currently offering Andy Rubin’s first post-Google effort, Essential Phone, for $0 on a two-year contract with a monthly data plan which costs $95. The outright purchase of this phone still remains at $1,050. Recall that on September 8th when Telus exclusively released this phone in Canada, the contract cost was $290, this price dropped to $200 after about 12 days.
