It’s good news for all Samsung fans out there, that the company decided to go with the same Galaxy S8 display design for the upcoming Galaxy A 2018 Series models, and this can now be confirmed. A new set of renders of the Galaxy A5 2018 model wearing a couple of cases (presumably sourced from the cases’ manufacturer) leaked earlier, and reveals that the 18:9 aspect ratio will be used widely this year.
According to today’s leak, the 2018 editions of Galaxy A5 and A7 are expected to arrive with full screen design similar to the “Infinity Display” the Galaxy S8/S8+ models already have, minimal bezels on top and bottom, along with a single camera at the back and a dual LED flash.

Be careful, there are some rumors strolling around that the Galaxy A7 2018 model will pack a dual camera and only the Galaxy A5 2018 will have the single camera we see in the image above. As far as the smaller (budget) Samsung Galaxy A3 2018 is concerned rumors suggest that perhaps we won’t be seeing it this year, as the company will focus on the full display design of their models and a small 5 inch Galaxy A3 model couldn’t use this “Infinity Display” technology: it is already too small for it.
We previously informed you that the next Galaxy A premium mid-range smartphones will have a physical Bixby button, along with all the relevant features of Samsung’s personal assistant. In case you missed it, the Korean company unveiled the Bixby Personal Assistant when the first Galaxy S8/S8+ models were unveiled a couple of months ago. It’s pretty simple to use with the hardware button: one press of the button activates Bixby Home but if you press and hold, the Bixby Voice is activated.
Stay tuned, and we will know more on this matter in the coming days.
