Huawei addresses the dreadful “Google Bug” in Huawei Mate 10 Pro

Something curious happened yesterday, during the Huawei Mate 10 and 10 Pro Launch event. According to some people who got hands in the available samples of Huawei Mate 10 Pro, the device was very hot and the 4000mAh battery was draining faster than it should.

The Chinese giant laid the blame in no one but Google. Huawei called it a name, which we do not have the courage to repeat, “The Google Bug.”

The screenshot, which comes after the dreadful name, is self explanatory. We can see Google Play Services taking the fist place in the battery chart. When asked about the issue, Google said to be in a rush to fix the problem.

Now seems that cure came faster than we expected. As told by Huawei, the Mate 10 has received today, an OTA update which addresses the issue.

The timing between bug found and the fix deliver fits perfectly in an ideal world. We know that don’t happen often, and we can judge this fact by an synced work between Google and Huawei, going on behind the curtains.

We can judge this speed, by the fact the phones suffering from it, were nothing less than reviews samples. The threat of having bad reviews or getting a buggy label on its software has made Huawei work faster than the usual.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro sales will start on early November. Now future owners can sleep a little more confident in not having a battery hog draining all Phone’s juice.
