Xiaomi pioneered the bezel-less trend about a year ago and has even announced a refresh of its first bezel-free phone.While that class of Xiaomi phones comes with huge price tags, it appears Xiaomi is about pacifying users of its budget Redmi Note series with what looks like a bezel-free phone- the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
A Xiaomi phone with model number MET7/MEE7, which industry source says could be the Redmi Note 5 has just shown its face on TENAA revealing photos as well as complete specifications of the phone.
It is encased in a unibody metal design with a rear fingerprint sensor and a single rear camera.The Redmi Note 5 obviously is not an entirely bezel-less device, it still has a generous amount of bezels on the chin, top and even left and right. However, the phone has a high screen-to-body ratio which makes it a full-screen model.

As per the TENAA listing, the upcoming Redmi Note 5 codenamed MET7/MEE7 will come with a 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.The listing further revealed that a 2GHz Octa-Core processor will beat at the heart, while a generous 4000mAh battery is expected to keep it lighted. A 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage variant is reportedly also in the making.
The device will boot Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, while a single 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a single 5MP front-facing camera will be in charge of photography.
Xiaomi is yet to confirm a possible launch date, release date, or price, but a launch date could be fast approaching now that it has been approved by TENAA.
