Taiwanese tech giant Acer has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Predator Triton 700 gaming laptop in India. The brand new notebook is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU and features an ultra thin 18.9mm chassis.
Looking at the display, the Acer Predator Triton 700 packs a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC. Cooling is handled by Acer’s own innovative cooling featuring AeroBlade 3D metal fans. These fans supposedly increase airflow by 35 percent compared to conventional fans, yet take up less space.
Other features include Killer DoubleShot Pro networking and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, which is said to provide speeds up to 40Gbps and offer support for dual 4K video output. As if that weren’t enough, there are also 2 USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort and Gigabit Ethernet.

The Predator Triton 700 also has an RGB-backlit mechanical keyboard with anti-ghosting tech. The keyboard features RGB backlit keys that can be individually programmed as well as Acer’s PredatorSense software which enables gamers to control and customise the laptop’s internals as they see fit.
So, how much exactly will this slim behemoth set you back at? Well, the Triton 700 comes with a price tag of Rs 2,99,999 or roughly $4600. If you somehow feel urged to buy the laptop, it’ll be available at all the authorised Acer retail stores in India. For most of us however, we’ll be much more comfortable settling for something cheaper.
