Blu Products has today announced the immediate availability of the Blu Vivo 8L, a refresh of the Blu Vivo 8 and interestingly its first selfie centric phone (isn’t it interesting to know there are brands still left out of the dwindling selfie trend?). What is most interesting on the Blue Vivo 8l specs sheet is its enormous battery capacity, and most importantly, a 20-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The Blu Vivo 8L boasts of a 20-megapixel “Super Selfie” camera with a 1/2.8-inch sensor, a f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens, while the rear gets a modest 13-megapixels sensor with a 1/3-inch Sony IMX258 sensor, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus, HDR, slow-motion recording, panoramas, and ‘beautification’ for selfies.

In terms of specs, the Blu Vivo 8L features a compact 5.3″ HD (720p) display with curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB using microSD slot.
Other specs include a large enough4,000 mAh battery that is expected to offer up to 32 hours of talk time and up to 72 hours of music play with power saving mode turned on. others include a rear fingerprint sensor, USB OTG (on-the-go) supported, rapid charging, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE, WiFi and boots Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
As for pricing, you can get the device on Amazon at $149 for a limited period, after which it goes for about $200. The device is available only in black colour option.
