Chinese tablet gods Chuwi achieved quite some success with the recent Indiegogo campaign for their Chuwi SurBook model and amassed over 1 million dollars in donations ranking it as one of the 20 most successful campaigns out there. And the Chuwi SurBook is now finally available in global sales too, you can find it on Banggood, Geekbuying or Gearbest resellers for example.
Gizchina News of the week
With that out of the way they can move on to the next project, that will be the smaller version of the SurBook – Chuwi SurBook Mini. No need for crowdfunding, the convertible is already close to being ready and will offer 10.8-inch fully laminated OGS IPS screen with 1920×1280 pixel resolution, Celeron N3540 CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, twin USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It will also has the handy adjustable kickstand going all the way up to 125 degree angle.
And the official unveiling is really just around the corner, because they are planning to launch it just before the main Chinese Shopping Festival season, which starts November 11th. No word yet about the pricing of the device, but realistically it should be lower than the $399 retail price for the fully fledged SurBook. We shall see and more will be surely shown soon on their website.
