Redmi India (Xiaomi’s official Twitter account) made the announcement earlier today and everybody seems to be trying to guess what the Chinese behemoth has in store for us (and the Indian market) specifically.
Xiaomi India sent press invites on this matter a couple of hours ago, for a special event scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India on November 6 (that’s next Thursday) and that’s where the company plans to unveil a totally new series according to their own words:
“A new series is coming”
The Tweet comes with the relevant hashtag #YourBestSelfie that basically hints at a selfie phone, and an image with a blue lighting (Quick Charge 3.0 support perhaps?) and a white circle (probably hinting at a front facing LED flash for the selfie camera).

Xiaomi thinks highly of the Indian market (and why shouldn’t they?) as their sales there are booming and this year will end with record sales. The Chinese company has already launched there their Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4 models, along with Mi A1 with Android One, Mi Max 2 and of course their awesome Mi Mix 2 flagship.
