The design concepts show a considerable decrease in the size of the bottom bezel. Both the smartphones will retain the infinity display, sporting an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 with a QHD+ resolution, continuing the bezel-less trend that took 2017 by storm. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a 5.8-inch screen with the dimensions measuring 144.1 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm. The S9+ on the other hand will sport a 6.2-inch screen with the dimensions being 155.2 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm. Both the smartphones will feature 3D facial recognition, with an IP65/68 rating, a 16MP dual camera setup on the back and a 12MP dual camera setup on the front. This iteration will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The interesting part is the under-screen fingerprint sensor, which is still under testing and could be moved to the back of the phone below the camera setup. There were rumors surrounding the same when the Samsung Galaxy S9 was launched. Even though too early to be trusted, the leaked images do seem believable.
