When Xiaomi started sales a few years ago, it basically relied on online marketing methods. However, all that has changed now and the Chinese smartphone manufacturer seem to be more concerned with the conventional sales methods. Earlier this year, Xiaomi set a target to open at least 200 Mi Stores globally and in recent times, we have seen Mi stores in new areas like Malaysia, Thailand, and Greece. Today, the Chinese company confirmed that on the 5th of November, it will perform the grand opening of its upgraded flagship Mi Store at Shenzhen. This Store was the very first Mi Home and its grand upgrade is expected to catapult Xiaomi to a new retail milestone.

However, Xiaomi president, Zhang Jianhui said that before the grand opening of this Store, 7 new Mi stores will be opened this week at Shaoxing, Yinchuan, Zhongshan, Tianjin, Lianyungang, Shiyan, and Dongying. This will act as a warm-up towards the main November 15 opening.
Interestingly, Mi Home records daily sales up to 260,000 Yuan, this is only second to Apples 400,000 Yuan and larger than luxury brand Tiffany’s 200,000 Yuan.
