2017 has been the year of bezel-less smartphones. Manufacturers all over have adopted this style of design with only a few still sticking to the supposedly old form factor. One such brand is Meizu. The latest leak shows an unidentified Meizu smartphone that has a full screen design and a display that seems to have 18:9 aspect ratio.
The image appeared on the social media site, Weibo. The image shows the front of the smartphone, which has relatively regular sized bezels as compared to other bezel-less smartphones. The side bezels aren’t particularly thin either. The top bezel houses the earpiece, proximity sensor and the front camera. Even though it has a pretty thick chin, big enough to house a fingerprint scanner, it seems like Meizu chose to put the fingerprint scanner on the back.

Keeping the design in mind, the phone does not seem like a flagship, but rather a mid or low range device. This might be the case since many manufacturers are offering bezel-less smartphones at mid range prices. The LG Q6 is one such example. Even Xiaomi is rumoured to be gearing up for the Redmi 5 Plus launch which is expected to be a full screen bezel-less phone. There is no word from Meizu regarding the same, so we suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt.
