Some time ago, Xiaomi removed the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 from its official website and this culminated into a lot of fuss about the continuation of this device. While some believed that the Chinese manufacturing giant has discontinued this product, others speculated that the device was not lucrative for Xiaomi. However, Xiaomi’s director of marketing, Zang Zhiyuan took to his official Weibo handle to announce that Xiaomi is currently the next-gen Xiaomi Mi Pad and further said the reason for the removal of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 from its official website was because the product went out of stock.

Although Xiaomi is known to produce the cheapest tablets especially when you compare the hardware and price, tablets are not really lucrative these days because many users just prefer to purchase a 2 in 1 tablet PC. Thus to speculate that the next generation Xiaomi tab will be a 2 in 1 tablet PC is not out of place. However, you have the likes of Jumper and Chuwi who concentrates on tablet PCs and Xiaomi will have to design something better than what they have in order to make a meaningful impact. This is not above Xiaomi because many didn’t think that the Chinese manufacturer was capable of producing a laptop but it did and even unleashed the Notebook Pro which features the latest 8th gen Core processor and provides a top-notch performance.
