The annual Singles Day or rather 11.11. shopping festival is coming this saturday in China and that’s usually the reason for millions of people to use the discounts and grab a new phone for the collection. And today we have for you the reasoning from the Oukitel brand, why you should consider getting their Oukite K5000 instead of the Xiaomi Max 2 if you are looking for a big screen phone with a big battery.
First comes the display comparison and while the Xiaomi has way bigger 6,44-inch 16:9 screen and FullHD resolution, the Oukitel K5000 with 5,7-inch HD+ 18:9 screen is easier to hold in one hand. Also as you can see in the picture, the actualy screen size difference is smaller than the numbers would initially suggest.
Second comparison point is with the design and material and while both features curved design, the Max 2 uses metal build, while the K5000 sticks just to plastic.

Then we get to the actual hardware equipment, both phones carry on board 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM in basic variant, but the Xiaomi phone has more options to choose from in the ROM size too. Oukitel piece is powered by the MT6750T octa-core chipset and running 5000 mAh battery, while Xiaomi counters with Snapdragon 625 processor and 5300 mAh battery.
Another important battle comes with the cameras and both phones are sticking with just single lens solution. Xiaomi Max 2 has 12MP rear camera and 5MP front selfie cam, while the Oukitel K5000 adopts 21MP Samsung 3P3 (16MP interpolated) for the selfie front cam and 16MP Sony IMX135 (13MP interpolated) for the rear one.
But maybe the most important comparison boils down to the price and while the Xiaomi Max 2 is projected to be down to $221.99 during the 11.11. sales the Oukitel K5000 will enjoy a flash sale priced at $131.99. So which one of these two rival phone would you choose personally ?
