Finally, Galaxy Note 8 Security Patch May Arrive Next Week

The last update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (international unlocked variant) came in August. The October security patch was released to some markets but some users who have been expecting this update are still in oblivion. At the moment, there is no confirmed news on the date of its release, but rumors suggest that the long-overdue Galaxy Note 8 security patch for the international unlocked variant will be released sometime next week.

Gizchina News of the week

This expected security patch has been rolled out to devices in China, Hong Kong, and Canada but for the past three months, the international unlocked model users have been waiting for this update. The Blueborne security vulnerability took much of Samsung’s time in September thus most of its devices did not receive an update and the latest reports show that by next week, either the October patch or the latest patch for the month of November will be rolled out for the Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F). The details of this security update will be detailed by the South Korean manufacturing giant in the coming days.

If the Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F) receives the November security patch, it will be the first Samsung device to get the update. This would be fair considering how long users have been made to wait for a new security update.
