Apparently, the Ulefone’s latest rugged phone – the Armor 2 – isn’t just tough. The company has indeed announced that starting today you’ll be able to use Android Pay on your durable handset.
Android Pay is a digital wallet platform developed by Google to power in-app and tap-to-pay purchases on mobile devices. This payment method is a very advanced and cool way to shop in the millions of stores that endorse it worldwide.
The Ulefone Armor 2 is able to support Android Pay due to the presence of an NFC chip. Thanks to it you can put your device close to a receiver that will recognize the chip and go through with the payment.

Other than the NFC chip, the Ulefone Armor 2 also packs quite some hardware. Firstly, the smartphone is IP68 rated, which means it can withstand dust, dirt and sand. Then we have the internal specs going from the powerful MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM support up to an expandable 256GB. The 5.0-inch FHD display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating, plus we find a 4700 mAh battery, a 16MP rear camera, 13MP selfie snapper and Android 7.0 as the OS. You can learn more about the phone on the official website.
Since we’re in the 11·11 global shopping festival period, Ulefone are also running a “Big Sale” event where we’ll find lots of hot-selling devices. For instance, the Armor 2 above is available for merely $229.49. During the event you can also play games and win coupons on their official AliExpress store.
