Chuwi has a pretty good experience with the crowdfunding campaigns, their latest one for theSurBook raised over 1 million dollars after all. So they are trying to repeat the recipe for success and today they have officially launched their campaign for the newest 2-in-1 tablet offering, the Chuwi CoreBook.
Chuwi CoreBook will be the first device from their stable with the more powerful Intel Core M3 processor, specifically Core M3-7Y30. With Intel HD Graphics 615, 6GB RAM and 128 GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage the basic hardware is looking good, even though M.2 SSD would be welcome too. It also comes with 13,3-inch OGS fully laminated FHD display, fingeprint scanner for security, 37Wh battery with 12V/3A charger, 2x full USB 3.0 ports plus USB Type-C one, optional hinged wide-angle keyboard and stylus support with 1024 levels of pressure.

For the Indiegogo campaign you have a chance of getting the device cheaper than the retail price, that’s the norm for crowdfunding after all. Early bird price for the Chuwi CoreBook is set at $459, while the full set including keyboard and stylus pen sits only marginally higher at $499. Both offers limited to 200 pieces so make sure you grab one soon if interested. Estimated release for the CoreBook will be probably March 2018.
