The Chinese tech giant has launched two new tabs, Lenovo Tab 7 and Tab 7 Essential at $100 and $80 respectively making them one of the cheapest tabs on the market.
Lenovo Tab 7
Priced at $100, the Tab 7 features a 7-inch 720p display. Under the hood lies the quad core MediaTek MT8161 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. There’s 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. On the back lies a 5MP sensor whereas video calls are facilitated by the 2MP front facing camera. The Tab runs Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. It is fueled by a battery that boasts of 15 hours of usage. It has Bluetooth 4.0, charges via a micro USB port and sports a 3.5mm jack. The Tab 7 is available in Black and White.

The Tab 7 Essential is a toned down version of the Tab 7. It sports a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The quad core MediaTek MT8167D clocked at 1.3GHz powers the tablet coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The rear camera is toned down to a 2MP sensor and the front camera still is a 2MP sensor. It runs Android Nougat, has Bluetooth 4.0 and boasts of a 20 hour battery life. It is priced at $79.99 and is available in black.
