Gizchina News of the week

Zhu Shangzu played a big role during his period in MediaTek by establishing strategic partnership between the Taiwanese chip manufacturer and Xiaomi. According to the company announcement, his skills and contacts around the industry will be a key factor in Xiaomi’s future investments.

The new investor has both bachelor and master degree in Electronics at the Taiwanese Hsinchu Jiaotong University. He joined MediaTek in 1999 to directly work in Digital Consumer Electronics Business Unit and Digital Camera Business Unit.
