When the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has been set to launch in September, its promotion poster carried a phrase of Full Screen 2.0. This simply meant the forthcoming model will come with a number of improvements concerning the bezel-less display technology as well as the features used in the previous model. It was so. The leaked renders of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 showcase the company is going to completely redesign this phone and use a marketing move used in the Meizu Pro 7. As you remember, the latter comes with a second screen placed on the back. The auxiliary display comes at a 1.9-inch diagonal using an AMOLED screen and 240×536 pixel resolution. However, it’s capable of providing only a few functions such as time, pedometer results, music playback, and a few notifications. Seems Xiaomi wants to take this technology/design further, though we have heard Meizu has abandoned it.
According to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 renders, it will use a 100% full-screen on the front and quite large secondary screen on the back. Thus the chin will be canceled at all. This means the front side will be used as regularly for playing games, browsing the web, and other operations we used to do on the screens of our phone. So all the speakers, camera sensors, and other sensors will be placed on the opposite panel. At this moment, it seems unreal. But people have been talking about the Mi MIX similarly.
It makes sense to make a phone bezelless atthe bottom, you can easily reach there with your thumb, so it’s functionally reasonable. However, why the heck do you need to get reed ot the top bezel? With large screens you can’t reach there with one hand and you need it for cameras, sensors and speakers. Just make a phone with one bezel at the top. That’s it

Hm, this was never a problem, I tried mi mix and samsung s7 edge. Phone usually lies on my 4 fingers while i use my thumb to control it. But may be it depends on how people use the phone
Well it’s all OK while their is at least some meet behind. For me even thin side bazel’s sometimes can make described problem as I don’t pay attention how I am griping it always.
