Xiaomi India has been teasing a mystery product on Twitter recently, and now we finally know what it is. Xiaomi’s mystery product is a ‘made in India’ power bank, called the Mi Power Bank 2i. The thing comes in two configurations, and seems like a pretty decent power bank for the price.
The Mi Power Bank 2i was launched at a starting price of Rs 799 for the base 10,000mAh configuration going all the way to Rs 1,499 for the top-end 20,000mAh configuration. The ‘i’ is for the Made in India Power Banks, which Xiaomi will start selling in the market.
Gizchina News of the week
The 10,000 mAh Mi Power Bank 2i comes with an anodized aluminum body, and 85 per cent conversion rate, which means an actual capacity of 6500 mAh. The 10,000 mAh Power Bank will also support dual-USB output. The same goes for the 20,000mAh unit, just with a larger capacity.
Both the new models will go on sale through Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting November 23 noon. After the initial sale, the Power Bank 2i range will be available across all Mi Preferred Partner stores and all large-format retail partners in December.
