Nokia 2 to get 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant in India

It was only a couple of days ago when HMD Global its latest device, the Nokia 2 in India. Since it was first unveiled in India, the company has since started selling the device in South Africa, Russia, and the USA. The device which was announced in just 1GB and 8GB storage option is yet to go on sale in India, despite being the Country where it was first unveiled. Well, the delay in rolling out the device to the India Market may have been done on purpose, as the company is already preparing an upgraded version for the Indian market.

According to multiple sources, a more capable Nokia 2 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage capacity would be launched in India. This is to ensure that the device competes greatly with the top competitors in the market which already adopted 2GB RAM and 16GB storage as their minimum configuration.

As for availability and expected price in the India market, there are speculations that the 2GB RAM Nokia 2 variant will be exclusive to the online retailer Flipkart and will go on sale by the end of December at a price point of Rs. 7,999.

A major highlight of the Nokia 2 is its long-lasting 4,100mAh, which the maker claims can give users a battery life of up to 2 days depending on your pattern of usage.
