UMIDIGI S2 Pro presales starting tomorrow + getting Face ID !

UMIDIGI S2 Pro

The D day for the UMIDIGI fans is tomorrow, because the hyped UMIDIGI S2 Pro model will finally get into the presales on Gearbest and the price will even be tweaked down by $40 from the retail level down to to $299.99. And the shipping is expected to start between December 10th and 16th so not that further ahead either.

And the good news just keep coming, because based on the customer feedback (and surely on the current popularity) they decided to add the Face ID recognition technology to the face. So the face unlocking will be a thing for the UMIDIGI S2 Pro and adds to the appeal for the phone.

Gizchina News of the week

But UMIDIGI S2 Pro is already pretty well equipped to serve with the 6-inch FHD+ resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Helio P25 processor, dual channel 6 GB RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and quite innovative nano-coating waterproof technology. And in the following video you can check out the multitasking performance of the phone.

As mentioned before you can get the UMIDIGI S2 Pro with the $40 discount in here and also you can try your luck winning a free one in the giveaway contest on the UMIDIGI forums or even get a half price coupon on the official website.

Why add face ID? It’s not safe. Don’t u see Doogee Mix 2’s face ID? It needs 4 seconds to unlock phone. I don’t know why those brands want to use this stupid design but not convenient for users.

Bigger question is, will this phone support 4G/LTE in your country?

No idea now, but I don’t think it will be a good phone. Compared with Doogee Mix 2, I prefer Mix 2, although the face ID is not so fast, but it’s the truth that it is affordable and useful.
