Xiaomi Redmi 5 Leaked Photo Hints At Strong Selfie Camera Features

After a year of failure Xiaomi is back and now it’s going to rank among top 500 companies in the world. Many think this is accidental, but those who follow this manufacturer know it is one of the fastest growing startups in the world. So it’s quite expected to see the Chinese Apple raising higher. One of the reasons why this company is capable of coming in with attractive devices is the strategy of using innovations and trendy features in any handset from any category. Say, if Apple decided to bring a full-screen to the most expensive iPhone model, this technology has been available in the Mi MIX last year. Moreover, this technology is going to be used not only on flagships but on ultra-cheap budgets as well. As you know, the cheapest full-screen phone coming our way from a top brand is going to be the Xiaomi Redmi 5. This handset has been leaked in a few spy photos, and we are going to make some assumptions concerning this device.

Looking at the latest leaked photo, we can notice the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a narrowed screen border. This makes the phone looks quite attractive even in lighter color options such as white. The same can be said about the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Though this phone couldn’t cancel both the forehead and chin, it still looks amazing with its tri-bezel-less screen and white ceramic housing. As for the Redmi 5, it uses a more user-friendly screen design with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This phone also comes with a narrow forehead and chin that carry some important sensors such as proximity sensor, camera sensor, and so on.

There is also a chin with the same size as the forehead. But there is nothing placed on it. So we can assume it’s been done for an overall symmetrical design. Moreover, we have also noticed there is an additional opening next to the front camera. There are two variants we are thinking of – either it’s made for the second camera sensor or it’s there for the flashlight. At last, as there is no physical key on the front, we think the fingerprint scanner should be placed on the back.
