OnePlus 5T is the fastest selling phone from the company


For sure when OnePlus started the “5T Project” the company wish was to increase their smartphone sales appealing in trends like the 18:9 display. But apparently the OnePlus 5T is performing pretty well to be only considered a ramp in sales.

The handset was unveiled two weeks ago in an event held in US, yesterday the handset debuted in OnePlus homeland, China. According to the company the OnePlus 5T is their fastest selling phone up do date, surpassing their previous handsets. And becoming much more successful than its early brother, the OnePlus 5.

According to the company it took only 6 hours to realize that the OnePlus 5T was breaking their sales record. However, the company didn’t publicly shared numbers of total shipped units during the achievement.

Due to the huge success, the shipments for countries such as USA are taking more than expected. According to recent reports the smartphone is taking about 2 weeks to ship in the country, a long wait for any anxious buyer.

If you’ve lived in a cave during this month and missed the OnePlus 5T bandwagon, let us refresh your memory. The 5.99-inch FHD+ smartphone brings Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset to date, the Snapdragon 835 paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage or 8GB RAM and 128GB in the higher variant. Camera wise the handset brings the same 20MP + 16MP dual setup on the rear, however the company has made a refresh treatment in the sensor to do a better low light photography. Additionally there is a 16MP unit on the front for selfie’s lovers.

Currently the OnePlus 5T can be acquired with the amount of $499 for the 6GB+64GB variant and $559 for the 8GB+128GB unit. Chinese consumers can also grab the cool looking Lava Red Colored OnePlus 5T, while western consumers got only the Midnight Black variant. We are anxious to see if the handset will keep breaking records.
