Android Apps With Lock screen Ads Banned By Google

One the Play Store, there are some apps that bring annoying ads on your lock screen. Some of these apps, though useful, have been uninstalled by many users because of the ads. Today, Google has enacted a new policy that stops all apps whose sole purpose is not to lock screen from placing ads in lock screen mode. This is specified in the developers' monetization support page. It reads as follows

What this implies is that apps like music players, third-party galleries, and casual games won't be allowed to place ads in lock screen mode but apps that are designed to be a lock screen replacement is allowed. Ultimately, Google will pull out apps that do not comply with its new guidelines.
