Samsung Galaxy Note 8 In Europe Gets November Security Update

Some weeks ago, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in Hong Kong and China started receiving the November security patch. Subsequently, this update was rolled out to units in India and now, this smartphone in Europe is receiving the update. Recently, some Galaxy Note 8 unlocked units in Netherlands and France were confirmed to have received the November security patch while the Vodafone-branded Note 8 in Germany and Ireland have also received the update.

This version is the same as the update that Indian units received recently thus it doesn’t come with the new Live Focus camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 units in the US and Taiwan received an update that included the new Live Focus camera tweaks, thus this feature will probably units in other regions in subsequent updates. This update comes with build number NMF26X.N950FXXS1AQKA and it is being rolled out OTA

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users in Europe should get a notification for this update but if you have not received it, just be patient because OTA updates arrive gradually. Alternatively, you may head to “Settings” and then “Software update” menu to get this update manually.
