China-based electronics manufacturer – MGCOOL – recently released an improved version of its award-winning Explorer series action cameras – the MGCOOL Explorer 3. The 4K-enabled camera ships with dual channel stereo audio recording capability, which is something we don’t see too often on this price segment. The dual channel microphone will indeed help you to record crisp and clear audio even during extreme conditions, deliveringĀ premium quality stereo audio.
The camera is powered by the advanced and efficient iCatch V50 processor which can capture images quickly and without hiccups. The Explorer 3 also provides support H.264+, EIS, and a gyroscope to help with stabilization.
MGCOOL’s camera adopts an unique combination of plastic coupled with metal to provide a premium look and feel, while enabling you to work with the camera in any adverse scenario. The addition of a 2-inch touch display on the back of the MGCOOL Explorer 3 will then simplify your life and help your use various functions with a touch. The camera then packs a Panasonic 34112 image sensor coupled with a 7-glass sharp lens, which filters out stray light.

Which will allow you to explore the undersea world even if you’re on a tight budget.
MGCOOL announced that the Explorer 3 will be priced $169.99, however, the camera will be available at a much lower price from Gearbest and Banggood.
