The original Bluboo S8 sports a 5.7-inch display, but S8+ upgrades to a 6-inch screen with an HD+ resolution (1440*720 pixels). Note that this is an in-cell display that allows the phone to have a thinner form factor. Moreover, it allows the S8+ to keep a (conditionally) low weight of around 200 grams even when the display increased in size.
The Bluboo S8+comes with a dual-curved front panel and the screen is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to avoid scratches and other minor damage. It still uses a well refined metal frame, Zn-Ti alloy, which brings a durability to the phone as well as makes more attractive along the CNC-processed body. The phone comes in three color variants – night black, sapphire blue and mirror silver. Fingerprint scanner is located in the rear and you have to do without the 3.5mm audio jack, because there is only the modern USB Type-C port for that.
Gizchina News of the week
As for the performance, the Bluboo S8+ offers midrange solid specs pioneered by the MT6750T processor supported by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. Don’t expect miracles, but alongside the Mali-T860 GPU it can provide a nice smooth user experience with around 43.000 points in the Antutu benchmark.
Bluboo S8+ is also very proud of its cameras, mainly all the features available for the 8MP front shooter. The various selfie modes involve Test Face Age, smile detection, Facecute Mode for enhancing photos with Snapchat-like effects and also easy adding sound to the image. Back camera combo consists of 16MP+3MP Sony sensor setup with dual LED flash and should also carry some weight with the picture taking.
The operating system on the phone is the 360 OS 2.0 based on Android 7.0 with extra security layers including their own largest harassment recognition library in China. Also it features a special Privacy System for a dedicated user private space and Avatar Master feature.
The endurance of the Bluboo S8+ is secured by the 3600 mAh battery, which should be enough for a full heavy day usage, because the HD+ screen is not as hungry. And the 5V/2A fast charging support will help to replenish the percentage quickly too.
As you see, the Bluboo S8+ comes with a number of selling points including a stylish look, build quality, full-screen design, dual-camera setup, good memory combination, user-friendly software, and many more, making it the best Bluboo phone yet. And now, this phone can be acquired for $149.99. Go to this link.
