Just yesterday, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released the much awaited Xiaomi Redmi 5 and 5 Plus. While many have appreciated these devices, some have expressed disappointments and a user asked the question “what love does Xiaomi has in stock for sd625?” Others have questioned the 16GB memory in the Redmi 5. However, the Antutu performance prowess of these devices which are scheduled to go on sale on Tuesday next week has been released and they are not bad.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 scored 55,472 on Antutu benchmark. This score implies that the device will seamlessly all casual games. There are not many smartphones with Snapdragon 450 but the Redmi 5 uses this chip which is a 14nm octa-core processor clocking 1.8 GHz

The larger Redmi 5 Plus with “Xiaomi’s precious” Snapdragon 625 processor scored 61,122 on Antutu. This octa-core chip clocks 2.0 GHz. There is not much difference between these smartphones.
